Abstract
Sets out the dimensional requirements for the highway cross-sections for all-purpose and motorway trunk roads, both at and away from structures. It also gives requirements for headroom at structures. Emphasis has been placed on the need to consider all relevant factors before choosing berm, side slope, verge or central reserve widths.
