Abstract
Offers good practice guidance in the use of models to assess the risk to the subsurface environment from contaminants. They can be used to identify the risks to receptors from land contamination or from other specific activities, such as landfilling and in the designing or testing of remediation strategies once an unacceptable risk to the environment or other receptor has been identified.
