Abstract
Monitors the impact of the technical advice on flood risk provided by the Environment Agency on planning decisions made by English local planning authorities (LPAs) and provides evidence on the effectiveness of the planning system in taking account of the technical advice provided by the Agency on flood risk. The report concentrates on plans, and planning applications where the Agency sustained its objections through to a known decision of the LPA.
