Abstract
Design of cantilever masts for equipment such as traffic signals and/or speed cameras made from steel on an outreach such that they are above the carriageway, hard shoulder and/or hard strip.

DMRB 2.2.13. Design manual for roads and bridges (DMRB). Old series - DMRB Departmental Standards (Bridges and Structures). Supersedes BD 88/03. This update incorporates changes to Clauses 5.18 and 5.19 to make a reduction in the provisions for loading and an adjustment for lower levels of structural damping, and to Clause 3.1 to restrict the size of attachments. Superseded by BD 94/07.
