Abstract

Part 7 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 applies the planning acts to the Crown, but new subordinate legislation and guidance must be in place before the provisions can commence. This consultation paper contains a circular to replace DoE circular 18/84 on Crown development, and provides guidance on the new legislation and how it should be operated. It also contains three statutory instruments.
