Abstract
Sets out the core values and behaviour for all members of central civil government’s supply chain: both government organisations and their suppliers. It is a code of conduct for all members of the supply chain that encourages all participants to work together openly and co-operatively. It also represents a commitment that they are serious about wanting to be better customers and better suppliers, within relationships that can bring mutual reward.

The Office of Government Commerce (OGC) was established to help Government deliver best value from its spending. They publish a series of procurement guides, and other documents to sustainability, risk management and cost management in construction. The Property Advisers to the Civil Estate (PACE) was merged with other organisations in 2001 to join the OGC.
