Abstract

Gives the requirements of the Overseeing Organisations of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland in respect of quality management systems applicable to the design of highways including construction and maintenance Works. It provides interpretation and guidance on ISO 9001:2000 for highway designers including advice on the development and use of competence management systems.
