Abstract
Sets out the shared policies of DEFRA, National Welsh Assembly, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (Northern Ireland) and the Scottish Executive for marine biodiversity in the context of their shared approach to sustainable development. Their focus is on the conservation of marine ecosystems alongside thriving marine industries and the communities that rely on them.
