Abstract
Sets out the key principles of planning for nature conservation; provides advice about the preparation and reviews of development plans, including the relevant statutory requirements; addresses nature conservation in development control procedures; deals with the conservation of internationally and nationally designated sites and habitats and also covers local sites; and deals with the conservation of protected and priority species.
