Full national land use database: county demonstrator

Abstract
Describes research to improve methodology developed for the National land use database. The database aims to develop a complete, consistent and detailed geographic record of land use in England, extendable to the other countries of the UK and is to be linked to Ordnance Survey's MasterMap. This report demonstrates its application over a large and varied area, the former county of South Yorkshire.
