Abstract
Provides guidance on what is expected in an economic impact report (EIR) and assistance in identifying existing appraisal guidance. This is to enable local planning authorities, and Government Offices to advise applicants who may have to prepare an EIR as a result of a planning application being designated a major infrastructure project by the Secretary of State.
