Abstract
The scope of this chapter includes indoor environmental health issues such as the effects of airborne contaminants, thermal stressors, acoustics, radiation exposure, ergonomics, and electrical safety. It presents information on how the environment affects the human body, gives guidance for recognising problems, and discusses standards and guidelines to protect workers and other occupants of indoor environments.
