Published in conjunction with the Metal Cladding and Roofing Manufacturers Association and also known as MCRMA Technical Paper 13. Updates the SCI Pub, Good practice in composite floor construction, 1990 and is based on SCI Pub, Design of composite slabs and beams with steel decking, 1989. Important notice: Site practice, particularly with regard to safety and the use of nets to prevent falls, has moved-on since this publication was written. Replaced by 2009 revised edition.
