Abstract
The Housing Corporation is committed to assessing the environmental credentials of its homes and since 2003 to achieving the rating of 'Pass'. It is now a requirement of all funded developments to achieve the 'Very Good' rating. The EcoHomes assessment tool was developed to measure and improve design specifications and applies to new and refurbished homes. This document provides recommendations, cost information and includes case studies.
