Abstract
Covers design and construction of full-sized household refrigerators and freezers. Some of these small refrigerators use absorption systems, special forms of compressors, and, in some cases, thermoelectric refrigeration. Applications for water/ammonia absorption systems have developed for recreational vehicles, picnic coolers, and hotel room refrigerators, where noise is an issue.
