Abstract
Presents a report mostly based on information from the 18,386 households who were interviewed for the Survey of English Housing (SEH) in the year beginning April 2004. The SEH provides key housing data on tenure, owner occupation and the social rented sector, and is the principal source of information about the private rented sector.
