Abstract
Provides a framework for best practice waste management across the UK in order to help healthcare organisations and other healthcare waste producers meet legislative requirements. Covers those types of waste produced directly from healthcare activities. Includes sections on audits, waste segregation and colour-coding, transportation, storage, treatment and disposal, documentation, accidents, personal protection, and training.
