Abstract
Presenting emerging conclusions and issues relating to the production of soil guideline values (SGVs), which were helpful tools for local authorities to use when determining if land is contaminated and where there is a significant possibility of significant harm being caused (SPOSH), in relation to human health effects, as stated in DEFRA Circular 01/2006 Annex 3, Chapter A.
