Abstract
Describes the quality management system requirements for temporary traffic management (excluding mobile lane closure techniques) on roads other than motorways and high speed dual carriageways. It is applicable to works on all single carriageways including three lane roads, and dual carriageways (other than high-speed dual carriageways). It is for all types of temporary traffic management used on such roads as described in Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual and includes all temporary traffic control systems, pedestrian and cycling traffic as well as vehicular traffic.
