Abstract
Statistics are accompanied by commentary. Statistics for energy performance in terms of average energy consumption per 100m³ heated volume and per square metre occupied floor area are included. The latter calculation is also applied to emissions to provide statistics on average emission rates relative to occupied floor area. Results are discussed in the context of the mandatory energy/carbon targets for the NHS.
