Abstract

Deals with structural steelwork designed in accordance with BS 5950-1 and Eurocode 3 Part 1.1 (BS EN 1993-1.1). The National structural steelwork specification for building construction (NSSS) can be used for all types of building construction designed for static loading.

CE marking version (BCSA, 2010) ran in parallel until CE Marking of fabricated steelwork became mandatory in July 2014. From 01/07/2014 the CE Marking version superseded this 5th edition version.
