Abstract
Discusses the calculation of core indicators which provide a number of measures of accessibility by public transport, walking and cycling to seven service types: primary schools, secondary schools, further education, GPs, hospitals, food shops and employment. The core indicators have been calculated to help local authorities develop their evidence base for their accessibility strategies.
