Abstract
Introduces good practice aspects for managing and providing routine and winter services on the trunk road network. This section deals with incident management, roles and responsibilities, definition, information and the media, communications, command and control, coordination, contingency planning, service requirements, debriefing, standards and requirements of service providers, incident support units: vehicles, livery, equipment, health and safety, hazardous waste, reporting and recording and investigation and managing and identifying canine fatalities.
