EC Regulation No 842/2006 on certain fluorinated greenhouse gases: supplementary guidance for stationary refrigeration air-conditioning and heat pump users

Abstract
EC Directive 842/2006 seeks to reduce emissions of fluorinated greenhouse gases used as refrigerants, by containment and leakage prevention. DEFRA have produced this supplementary guidance to discuss the types of equipment, obligations of the regulations, who the regulations affect, definition of a separate refrigeration system, responsibilities for complying with the regulation, types of refrigerant and includes an example log sheet for record keeping purposes.
