Abstract
Results of an independent programme of laboratory and field testing to assess the performance of self-sealing waste valves under a range of operating conditions. Summarises the key features of the valve, and demonstrates its suitability for use as a waste valve for sanitary appliances, including discharges from unvented domestic water heaters and condensate from boilers and air conditioning units. Evaluates it as an air admittance valve for installation in domestic buildings.
