Abstract

Provides categories of ASD systems and typical applications where such systems can be used. Offers specific design rules on common applications and guidance on good practice. Presents a series of performance tests and contextualises their use. Describes challenges associated with applications and suggests methods to avoid them. Addresses design tools, product standards and marking, and limiting false alarms.
