Abstract
Gives an account of the new education centre on the outskirts of Monaghan. Designed by McGarry Ni Eanaigh architects the centre is a training facility for primary and secondary school teachers, space for social interaction was a critical aspect of the design brief. Materials used include brick, cedar, self-coloured render and metal sheeting.
