Abstract

Intended to assist in meeting obligations in relation to a proposed EU Regulation affecting the hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and perfluorocarbons (PFCs) used in fixed fire suppression systems. Provides background to the Regulation and selected key definitions. Summarises the salient points from the Regulation as they apply to fixed fire protection systems. Also underlines actions to be undertaken by the Association in pursuit of these requirements.
