Abstract
Illustrates the new entrance to the Limerick University by de Blacam and Meagher. The sculpture is made from stone cubes stacked 3 by 4 high and 40 cubes long, made from black basalt and Portuguese white moleanos limestone. They form a chequerboard arrangement and are accompanied by two large flagpoles that can be seen from the approach to the campus.
