Abstract
Provides guidance on the conditions appropriate for the control of emissions from the chemical treatment of timber and wood-based products. Presents a timetable for compliance and review. Refers to processes for the immersion of timber in or its impregnation with organic solvent-based preservatives. Applies to treatment with creosote. Considers pollutants and sources, emission limits, monitoring and control techniques.
