Practical design guide for glass reinforced concrete using limit state theory

Publication Year

2007

Document Status

Current

Abstract

Advises on selection of production method and raw materials. Describes physical properties of glassfibre reinforced concrete and types of panel construction. Assists in determining how and to what a GRC product is to be fixed. Covers limit state design of both GRC elements and fixings. This statistical technique is used to determine the design loads and strength from the corresponding characteristic values to account for likely variations in these design parameters during the design life of the GRC product.

Document History

Superseded by Version 1.1, March 2018. Version 1.0. Supersedes Practical design guide for glass reinforced concrete (GRCSA, 2005).
