Abstract
Presents results of the consultation in 2006 and the subsequent changes that have been made to the draft document, reflecting responses received. The consultation sought views to improve national planning policy for sports and recreation in urban and rural settings, for provision and protection of open space within and on the edges of settlements and aimed to introduce national minimum standards for open space in new developments.
