Abstract
Presents a review of BKK 2 architects’ Sargfabrik: a hostel complex of apartments for users rather than owners. Relates the history of the scheme, the development’s layout, detailing, and public features. Also considers BKK 3’s sequel to this project, Miss Sargfabrik. Reflects on the application of lessons learnt from the previous project and the use of communal space.
