Abstract
400 Type Indicators are intended to be either gantry or post mounted and are used on motorways to display a variety of aspects which provide information to motorists. These indicators are driven from and powered by The National Motorway Communications Systems (NMCS1 and NMCS2). This specification defines the characteristics of the indicator necessary for it to meet this requirement.
