Abstract
Recommends two additional requirements to supplement the essential items given in BS 8500-1 when specifying designed concrete. Focuses entirely on the options within concrete specification that are available for resolving a performance issue - therefore excluding, for example, construction sequence options. Provides general guidance for each additional provision listed in BS 8500-1.
