Abstract

Deals with the design, installation and maintenance of sprinkler systems. These requirements are applicable to systems in respect of pipe sizing, amending the requirements of BS EN clauses 13.1.1 and 13.3.5. Requires that all high hazard systems pipe sizing is determined by hydraulic calculation, making the use of pre-calculated sizing tables obsolete in this context.
