Abstract
Produced following research which aimed to highlight good practice within prison education departments and also make recommendations. Areas covered in this report include: what boys want from prison education; assessing and meeting boys' individual needs; boys' experiences of education in prison and support for boys returning to education in the community. The study focussed on boys' experiences due to the much higher number of boys in prison compared to girls.
