Abstract
Proposes changes to Part D to update references and reflect significant changes in best practice, materials and safety practices. The regulations covering disproportionate collapse should now be applied to a wider range of buildings, new requirements for freestanding walls and retaining walls are introduced, more details are provided for timber connections, the section covering masonry walls is completely revised.
