Abstract
Shaffrey Associate Architects’ account describes the brief and siting for a new three-storey cultural and administrative building for Cavan City Council, housing the county library headquarters, central library, county archive and arts office as well as a cultural events space, genealogy department, tourist office and council offices. Describes how the project met accessibility and sustainability objectives.
