Abstract
Provides background to the Ballymun Estate, originally consisting of seven fifteen-storey towers, nineteen eight-storey deck access blocks and ten four-storey walk-up blocks. Much of the estate is undergoing demolition. Reviews the Hotel Ballymun art project, reflecting on its social and cultural comment.
