Abstract
A government funded study examined the potential of extending the range of pre-completion performance tests carried out in buildings, to check for compliance with the Building Regulations. This report presents the results and covers the conflicts between requirements in the Building Regulations, consequences of non-compliance, accredited construction details, performance testing in other countries and technology transfer.
