Abstract
Provides guidance on requirements of energy performance certificates (EPCs) for sellers and landlords, covering what they mean in practice, description of the certificate, how long they are valid for, determining if a certificate is required and the circumstances when a certificate is not needed, how to obtain a certificate, the penalties for not having one, resolving disputes from the energy assessment process and how to become an Energy Assessor.
