Abstract
Covers vehicle restraint systems which are manufactured in accordance with BS EN 1317 and used within a road or highway. However, as an exception, this sector scheme does not include work on parapets or cast in-situ concrete barriers, which are subject to other quality control measures. For the purpose of clarity, it should be noted that this Sector Scheme applies to temporary and permanent deformable road restraint systems.
