Abstract
Sets out the calculation methods to be used in the design process, for determining temperature, sensible loads and energy demands and describes calculation methods that determine loads for latent room, building and systems in terms of cooling, heating and humidification/dehumidification. Provides a general approach for calculating the overall energy performance of buildings with room conditioning systems and offers simple calculation methods for specific systems types based on building energy demand.
