Abstract
Provides evidence-based guidance on the design and layout of sanitary spaces for use in healthcare settings to cater for the needs of patients, visitors and staff. Covers WCs, shower rooms, bathrooms for patients, nappy and accompanied changing for public use, and changing for staff and independent adult patients. Also provides recommendations on the nature and fixing position of fixtures and fittings.
