Abstract

Intended to assist FIA members in meeting their obligations in relation to a proposed EU Regulation affecting the hydrofluorocarbons and perfluorocarbons used in fixed fire suppression systems. Addresses placement on the market, containment of gases, recovery (for reuse, recycling and disposal), training and certification, circumstances under which production must be reported, labelling, and penalties for infringements of the regulations.
