Abstract
Explains Town and country planning (development planning) (Scotland) regulations 2008, SSI 2008/426; the Town and country planning (grounds for declining to follow recommendations) (Scotland) regulations 2009, Draft SSI; and the Planning etc. (Scotland) act 2006 (development planning) (saving, transitional and consequential provisions) order 2008, SSI 2008/427, which aim to put in place the regulatory framework required to allow the development planning provisions of the Planning etc. (Scotland) Act 2006 to be commenced. The Act introduced major changes to the development planning regime in Scotland.
