Abstract
Draws upon experience of the process for preparing regional spatial strategies set out in Planning Policy Statement 11: Regional spatial strategies (PPS 11) and makes small changes to the existing text in PPS11. The purpose is to increase the administrative effectiveness of the guidance offered to stakeholders, prior to the introduction of arrangements for the single Regional Strategy as part of the Sub-National Review.
