Abstract
Covers why EPCs have been introduced, what information will be shown on the certificate, what to so with an EPC, when it should be produced, which rented properties require them, who can provide an EPC, under what circumstances staff workers can carry out EPC work, extent of survey for existing stock, and the verification of collected data. Also addresses energy efficiency rating, environmental impact rating, cost effective improvements, when an EPC should be updated, and replacing damaged EPCs.
