Abstract
Considers design loads and buckling curves for transmission towers. Provides slenderness ratios without taking explicitly into account any end restraint, and assuming as buckling lengths the total geometrical lengths between the points of intersection of member centre-lines. Buckling stresses are valid for angle members in an actual lattice structure and they take into account the stabilising and beneficial effects of partial end restraints both for centrally and eccentrically loaded angles.
